PDY 2022 report in press Thursday, Apr 28 2022

Every year since 2007 I have co-authored with Razvan Zaharia the report on Romania for the EJRP Political Data Yearbook. This year’s report went to the press late last week. This time the template was changed – out with the standard titles and in with personalized ones. But the tables of raw date remain the same, and they are available to all those interested, upon request. Changes in the composition of Parliament and cabinet, changes in the leadership of major political parties, issues of national interest. The reports are available here, Romania is one among many other countries:

Radio Punct interview Thursday, Apr 28 2022

George Scripcariu from Radio Punct in London, the United Kingdom, interviewed me three times in connection to my work on religion and politics, religion and its impact on the war in Ukraine, and the prosecution of war crimes in Ukraine. The last interview is available below, and was aired on 25 April 2022, as part of the Dezbaterea de Luni segment.

The MacDonald Notebook piece Thursday, Apr 28 2022

Last Friday, journalist Avery Mullin from the MacDonald Notebook interviewed me for an article he was working on. We talked about a range of issues related to the war in Ukraine and the possibility to prosecute Russian perpetrators for the war crimes committed there. The piece was published on April 23, 2022, but with a shocking title which personally I wouldn’t have chosen: “Assassination, not more sanctions, may be needed: StFX professor.” I guess drawing attention to the war takes some bold statements.
